SOUND DESIGN
Supervising sound editorial, re-recording mixing, and sound design for feature films, festival shorts, and documentary.
Borna Moinpour is an MPSE Golden Reel–nominated sound editor and mixer based in Los Angeles. He holds an MFA in Film & Television Production from the USC School of Cinematic Arts, where he served as a Teaching Assistant and Sound Engineering Assistant supporting the school’s sound facilities and productions.
His work covers the full post-production sound process, from dialogue editing and ADR to Foley, sound design, and final mixing. With a background in architectural engineering, Borna approaches sound through the lens of space and storytelling—considering the larger emotional landscape of a film while shaping the smallest details that define a character’s experience and the audience’s connection to each moment.
